Dean Chisholm graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 1992, and has enjoyed a career that has allowed him to practice across a broad spectrum of the law. He began his career as a prosecutor, litigating high-profile criminal cases, and eventually served as Special Counsel to the Montana Supreme Court.
For the past 20 years, Dean has practiced primarily in the civil law, trying dozens of cases in state and federal trial courts. Those cases included complex wage claim and employment litigation, dissolution, commercial construction defects, personal injury and wrongful deaths, probate claims, federal patent infringement and white-collar fraud. He has handled more than a dozen cases before the Montana Supreme Court. Dean has been recognized by several national publications, including Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Lawyers, and The Best Lawyers in America consumer guide.

Penni Chisholm

Penni Chisholm is a graduate of Columbia Falls High School. Penni earned degrees in Economics and Political Science, as well as her Juris Doctorate from the University of Montana. Among other honors at the University of Montana School of Law, she was selected to the National Order of Barristers as a member of the National Moot Court Team.
As a partner with the Rebeck & Chisholm Law Firm in Great Falls, Penni handled a wide variety of issues for her clients, including administrative, contract, corporate, criminal defense, family law, insurance subrogation, appeals, and personal injury.
Since returning to Columbia Falls in 1997, Penni is an experienced litigator, focusing on personal injury and family law. She has tried cases across the state in Flathead, Cascade, Lake, Gallatin, Musselshell, and Custer counties. She has preserved millions of dollars of assets for her clients in divorce cases and recovered millions of dollars for her clients in injury cases, including the largest personal injury verdict in the history of Flathead County at the time of verdict.

She has served as a director on numerous boards, including CASA For Kids, North Valley Hospital, Flathead Lake United Methodist Camp, Alpine Theatre Project, and the Community Health Center. Since 1995 Carol Ladenburg has worked as a legal assistant and secretary to the firm, and currently directs the firm's operations as Office Manager. Carol and her husband are Columbia Falls natives, and they and their family have been recognized for their contributions to our community’s school and social programs.
